FERNANDO SANTIAGO (In English)
Villafrechós born in Valladolid (Spain) in 1932.
The interest in sculpture and painting at a young age in 1947 will enter the School of Arts and Crafts.
In 1957 in Madrid to attend the school of ceramics and drawing in the Fine Arts Center.
His concern about the latest avant he travels regularly to Europe, visiting museums, exhibitions and art fairs.
Having to stay in Valladolid mounted a decorating business in 1965 and opened an art gallery.
In the 60's discovered Nazaré, where he will also family, friends and artists for several years, performing works of photography, painting and film.

particular visión pictórica y cinematográfica de Fernando Santiago
queda reflejada en estas imágenes que filmó en los años sesenta
con una Cámara de Super 8, mostrando la vida de sus gentes y su
relación con el mar en esta población de la costa portuguesa.
En
2010 Adán Santiago recupera estas imágenes y realiza
“Nazaré
1964”.
The
singular pictorial and cinematic vision of Fernando Santiago is
reflected in these images filmed in the sixties with a Super 8
camera, showing the lives of its people and their relationship with
the sea in this coastal village of Portugual.
